Our family loves Calypso Cove! It's always very clean and there are always plenty of lifegaurds. Our family has 5 young kids ages 9, 7, 5, 2, and 12 months. There's something for everyone to do and they all love this pool!

Calypso Cove Family Water park is a five-star oasis! My kids had a blast on the Hurricane Run and Typhoon Twister slides. The park is clean, well-maintained, and the perfect place for a family day of fun in the sun. Highly recommend!

We LOVE the Cove. It's such a great place for kids to explore the water and for families to spend time together. The lifeguards are professional and kind, the concession stand is very reasonably priced (plus you can bring your own snacks/drinks), and the hours are convenient. The Y rocks!

So fun for a summer day! Most of the water is below 2.5 feet so good for littles. My 4 year old loved doing the big water slides. Not too crowded on a Thursday

Have been going to calypso cove for years. Always a great time and kids LOVE IT. This year however it is EXTREMELY crowded, shoulder to shoulder with people. Hard to keep your eye on your kids, very hard to find chairs (we resort to having to share a chair between the four of us) and just overall hectic. I have a small child that wears floating devices and with him swimming around so many people it’s like a wave pool at all times. Water constantly going over his head and into his mouth. One kid actually pushed him under the water trying to get through the sea of people. People are bringing in MASSIVE roll around coolers, wagons, zero gravity chairs, women walking around in thongs, eating sandwiches while walking in the pool, lady yelling at her cheating “whore” of a husband on the phone. It’s just not what it used to be. I believe YMCA either needs to up their prices on calypso cove or make it where you have to pay a certain amount each year to be able to go. Not just pay once and you’re a member for life unfortunately. It’s getting way overcrowded. Has only been open a week and the water is already extremely cloudy where you can’t see beyond the first step into the pool. Used to be a nice relaxing family experience but now is just Mayhem sadly.
