Coney Mall

This is an original section of King's Island, reflecting the old carnival midway of yesteryear. Some of the rides like the scrambler, the racers, and the zephyr are opening day attractions, and some were even relocated from Cincinnati's Coney Island. This is a great historic section. The new smoke house is a great addition.

Took my children and myself to the Kings Island WinterFest the day after thanksgiving. It was a beautiful experience and we enjoyed ourselves. For anyone considering the visit on cold days please please please bundle up as it can get cold. Most KI rides are closed though and the ones opened are still enjoyable. The Chrismas Live Song were outstanding. The parade at 8:30pm was great. Great display of baby 'Jesus' live lambs, bulls, and camels, my daughter's highlight. I recommend families to visit and experience the different christmas displays.

Rides and shops were great for a theme park. Wait times were reasonable and the new orian coaster is exciting. Ava at the tower ride was a delight to talk to. The service and wait time at the Starbucks was THE WORST I've ever seen. It was dirty, inefficient and s l o w. The KI app is cool. Shows current wait times for all rides. Getting into the park was fast and easy. The food at the Miami River brewhouse was not great. Onion rings were very greasy (guessing the oil was too cold). The London Bridge fish sandwich was dry and flavorless despite a special slaw. I think it cost $15. At least the beer was good and cold.

Was there last night for Winterfest. The lights are beautiful the music really put you into the Christmas spirit. We are season pass holders and we absolutely love Kings Island.

The rides and food in this area are definitely crowd-pleasers. The Coney Bar-B-Que restaurant can't be beat but if you're looking for burgers, hotdogs, or a sub sandwich, they're on this strip, too.
