Environment: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark provides a large indoor space that serves as a "happy oasis," particularly during miserable winter weather. It features a clean environment with a notable indoor/outdoor hot tub. The park stays open late, offering extended hours for enjoyment.

Features: The water park boasts a variety of attractions, including a wave pool that is popular with children, great kids' slides, and the "Anaconda," which is described as pretty cool. For adults looking to relax, there is a grotto (cave water bar) where drinks are available. In addition to the water park, there is an arcade for further entertainment.

Services: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark offers day passes and resort passes. The check-in process is reported to be easy. The staff is described as friendly. Food options include burgers and chicken fingers, with nachos also mentioned as looking good. However, it is important to note that the food and drinks are considered very overpriced for medium quality.

Promotional Information: Day passes are available, and the price is considered good. However, it is suggested that if you are only visiting for the day, weekdays are preferable as weekends can get very busy, potentially making it difficult to find a spot to leave belongings, especially if arriving 1.5 hours after opening. For those planning a longer visit, resort passes are available, but affordable hotels within a 25-minute drive are suggested as an alternative to save on accommodation costs. The park's late closing hours could be considered a promotional aspect for maximizing visitors' time.

This was a big surprise for our son’s 9th birthday. The weather in the winter here is miserable and this was a happy oasis. The indoor/outdoor hot tub was really cool, the kids love the wave pool, this kids slide were great, and the Anaconda was pretty cool. Food was good, we had burgers and chicken fingers. The nachos looked great. Price was good for day passes but if you are just going for the day I suggest a weekday, weekends were pretty busy and we had trouble finding a spot to put our stuff as we got there 1.5 hours after they opened. Stays open late, next time we will do the resort pass, but there are affordable hotels within 25 min of you want to save a couple hundred bucks.

We stayed one night but used the park the day we checked in and then did the arcade the next day. The kids loved the park and the adults did too. My husband and my sisters husband took the boys and hit all the slides. Me and my sister hung out in the cabana and spent a significant part of the day in the grotto (cave water bar) enjoying drinks. I have no complaints. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly. The check in process was easy. The only thing, beaware, food and drink is very overpriced for medium quality...very overpriced. With that said...we will be going again soon.

We stayed at Kalahari resort for 3 nights during our vacation and had a great time overall! The waterpark is huge with lots of variety for all ages. Our kids had a blast with the two lazy rivers, including a smaller one for younger kids, as well as the water slides that catered to both young and older kids. The wave pool was a lot of fun, though the constant whistle blowing to manage crowd was a bit annoying at times. There are two hot tubs, both include indoors and outdoors, which were perfect for relaxation after a long day of water activities. The basketball pools added a fun twist, and the staff was really attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Make sure you return the towel you borrowed each night or else you will be charged $30 per towels. One thing to note is that no outdoor food is allowed, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars inside the park, so food options are very convenient. The kids had an amazing time, and we had a wonderful vacation overall. Highly recommend it for a family getaway!

Great for the whole family! We went 3/11 to 3/13. Arrived at 1pm and our rooms were ready. The waterpark: Multiple areas for your littles and lots of adventure for the thrill seekers in the family. I don’t know if this just happened to be a really slow time but we had very short lines the whole time we were here. Lots of seating areas. No major line to get in like GWL. Park opens at 10am. At 10:07, we badged right in. Reserved the luxury seating area for one day just because we wanted some soft chairs for our main day but that’s not necessary. Plenty of tables and chairs. The wave pool water does come into the chair area so a word of caution there. Anything in those first 2 rows will get wet when the waves start. The hotel… You have to walk through the arcade to get to the waterpark. Prep your kids if you aren’t doing the arcade. There’s lots of walking. Room choice… if you have multiple rooms that you want to have close to one another, you may want to call to book. I booked 2 room types that were not on the same floors (not aware at the time of booking). I ended up choosing to upgrade my room to match the larger room location because I didn’t want to be 2 floors away from our other group. Food is good. LOVED the breakfast buffet. Pretzels are good. They do offer gluten free options and seem to work with other allergies as well. Only one GF person in our group so that’s all we experienced. Room service order delivery was quick. We used to be a GWL family but I think we have switched.
