Kids Quest at ilani Introduce
Welcome to Kids Quest at ilani, a fun amusement center listed in the Theme Park Directory, located at 1 Cowlitz Wy, Ridgefield, WA 98642, USA. This venue is designed for children aged 12 and under, offering a variety of engaging activities and party options.
Environment: Kids Quest at ilani boasts a cool and diverse play area. It includes sections for dress-up and make-believe, rock walls, and climbing tubes. A notable feature is a super cool Infinity Table with digital versions of board games and puzzles. Additionally, there are foosball, air hockey, and video games available. The back gym area is used for birthday parties and includes scooters and a basketball hoop. The facility is generally reported as clean.
Services and Features: Kids Quest at ilani primarily offers a play area for children 12 and under, with activities ranging from imaginative play to physical challenges and arcade-style games. They also host birthday parties in a dedicated gym area. A unique feature for parties is a big group photo taken with a wall of balloons that can be popped. Decorations are generally generic, but you can bring your own themed decorations, and the staff handles the cleanup. They also offer a child care option at an hourly rate of $15.00 per hour for children up to their 13th birthday, featuring video games, music, and crafts. Registration is required, and it's recommended that party guests arrive 30 minutes early to get registered. Socks are required for the play area.
Customer Highlights: Customers have generally found Kids Quest at ilani to be a fun place for children. The variety of activities, including the Infinity Table, rock walls, and arcade games, is well-received. The birthday party experience is popular, with staff members like Peter and Raquelle being helpful for the most part. However, communication, particularly via phone, has been noted as an area needing improvement, with email being a more reliable method. A significant point to note is the policy regarding parent access to the party area, which is limited to a 30-minute window for food, cake, and gifts, a policy that some parents found upsetting and felt should be communicated more clearly before booking. The convenience of having generic decorations provided and cleanup handled is appreciated. The child care option for date nights is also something many parents in party groups considered using. Pictures are taken during parties, but you may need to follow up to receive them.

This was the second year having my son's birthday party here and they still have things to work on, mostly communication. DUE NOTE: parents are only allowed back in the party area for the food, cake, and gifts 30min portion. For some reason, the booking was still showing up for Cyber Quest via the Ilani website and not for Kid's Quest, which is a different area for kids 12 and under. I ended up booking with the Cyber Quest on accident, which they basically cordon off the area by check-in next to the shoe cubbies for your party area. I'm so glad I was able to drop off party decorations in advance and it was cleared up that we actually wanted the Kids Quest area, which is the back area behind the check-in desk for under age 12. That area is so cool and has so much to offer from dress-up/make believe to rock walls and climbing tubes. There is even a super cool Infinity Table with all the board games and puzzles in a digital format. There is Foosball, air hockey, video games... you name it. In the back gym area where birthday parties are held, they have scooters and a basketball hoop. A big group photo is taken with a wall of balloons you can pop. Everything seemed clean, the pizza tasted better than it looked, and the staff (Peter and Raquelle) were great to work with for the most part. Some staff not so helpful, but that was handled so we were able to have a good experience here for a birthday party. All-in-all, I would recommend a birthday party here at the end of the day, but you've got to be patient and not mind having to email since they never answered their phone when I tried to call. Like I said, they just need a little better communication along the way. One of the parents in our party was very upset she couldn't be back in the area with her child throughout the party. They only allow the parents back in the party area for the 30mins for food, cake, and gifts! And that was communicated to me the evening prior to the party in an oh by the way email. That definitely should be very clear before booking. I also had to ask over a week later for the pictures they take to be sent. I definitely snapped better pictures, but if you're not the type to snap photos, it is nice for them just to do it. I also liked that they decorate with generic decorations (you can bring in themed ones) and do the clean up! I would recommend telling your party to arrive 30mins before the party starts in order to get registered and be ready to go in all at one time. Bring socks for littles as they are to take off their shoes when playing. The kids can play in the arcade after the party and parents can load more funds onto their cards. At the end of the day, almost every parent in our party was thinking of coming back for the child care option for a date night. All the kids were happy and played their hearts out.

This place only charges $15.00 per hour and it is for kid 12 and under but you're child can keep coming here till their 13 Birthday. kids club has video games, music, and crafts available for everyone to enjoy 😉.

I recently attended a show at Ilani and checked out the playroom “Kids Quest”, and I have to say, it left me feeling pretty sad. I get that parents might want a break to gamble and drink, but leaving kids in this kind of environment is just not okay. First off, the playroom itself is pretty depressing. Kids left wondering where their parents went. It feels more like a holding cell than a fun place for kids to hang out. It’s clear the main goal is to keep kids out of the way, not to engage or entertain them. What’s really troubling is how close this place is to the casino floor. Even if kids aren’t seeing the gambling and drinking firsthand, just being in that environment sends the wrong message. Studies show that kids who are exposed to gambling at a young age are more likely to develop risky behaviors later on. It's like we're normalizing something they shouldn't even be around. This place is anything but that. It’s cold, uninspiring, and the staff, while polite, seem more like babysitters than people who actually care about interacting with the kids. Honestly, parents, if you’re thinking of leaving your kids here while you hit the slots and the bar, think again. There are better places where your kids can have fun and be safe. A casino playroom is just not the place for them. Let's not normalize gambling and drinking as something kids should be around. Our kids deserve better than this.

The childcare area seems awesome! Took my 4 year old daughter there for just an hour to try it out on a Wednesday afternoon. She loved it. The staff was also helpful in showing her how to get set up for the video games. I haven’t taken her when there are a lot of other kids so I am not sure how that is, but the facility was really cool. So much to do and the only place I know for drop in childcare in the area!

My daughter loves to play here! There is so many activities for her to do. She always leaves with a giant smile on her face! The staff is great with kids, especially littles who may need a little extra comfort in a new environment!
