We went to the Bier Garten and it was delicious! Most people don't know they are open during the off-season. We were their first customer for the day, and it was so quiet. The food was amazing! I would recommend more sauce for the fries and tartar sauce for the fish and chips.

My husband and I have both been coming here since we were kids. So there is a lot of nostalgia when we come here. Our adult children also have enjoyed many experiences here. Even though we enjoy all the rides we grew up on, like Colossus and the wooden roller coaster, we also enjoy all the new rides like Wiked and Cannibal. This was our first time coming here since the new ride Primordial opened. It was a long line, and we waited over an hour to get on. It was a blast, a little roller coaster mixed with a 3D interactive video game. We also enjoyed eating in the Biergarten. The food there is much better than the regular carnival fare, but it's a little pricier too. We also like to wind down by walking around Pioneer Village, where it's a little quieter and laid back. All in all it's a great place to spend the day with family and friends and you can find something for everyone. We just usually run out of time to be able to see everything and do everything we want to do. Just wish it wasn't so expensive, but they have no competition for 100s of miles.

The real value from lagoon comes if you are a local and can purchase a season pass, even better on Black Friday. This allows you to go for a few hours at night where the lines are smaller. As many mention, the line hopping is annoying and happens even with adults. Unfortunately, most of the Lagoon team members don’t really show much interest in their job and avoid most interactions. We find the rides entertaining and enjoyable for all ages of our family. We’ve had great experiences and our children still want to get a season pass each year. It’s a wonderful place to help build childhood and family memories.

Would give zero stars. There is clearly a lot of paid, fake 5 star review for this depressing “amusement” park who keeps wildlife trapped in depressing and barren concrete pits. I’m not sure what kind of morally bankrupt people would find that “entertaining” or “amusing”.

Went there on a Friday, some rides were a long wait but most of the wait times weren’t terrible. However, the line jumping that occurs at this park is one of the worst I’ve seen at a park. This also causes wait time to become longer. Some rides will give complimentary lockers for your stuff. Due to wait times we didn’t get back in time and it locked us out. We spoke to the ride attendant who was helpful and called someone to come help but weren’t told a time. Then spoke to another park employee who admitted the call was probably forgotten about and called again but also said it would be the ride supervisor who would need to help us. Still no one showed up. We then spoke to the ride attendant who again called. Found the ride supervisor who at first told us it was a different department but then finally did help us to open the locker. They have some good coasters but I don’t believe the admission price was worth it. I also didn’t realize they have animals you can view by taking the train. We just thought it was a train ride around the park but it goes through there area where they keep animals from lions, mountain lions, antelope, etc… However it was kinda sad seeing the animals. They didn’t seem to have much room and their enclosures were all concrete.
