We were looking for something different to do an a no school day and came across Lara’s Labyrinth. Our oldest son loves solving puzzles we thought this would be a great adventure. Our youngest was a little timid about entering the room; he’s 7. Before going into the room we were given a run down of everything to expect as well as the story itself. The staff assured my youngest time and time again that there was nothing to be afraid of and was extremely patient. She even offered him a “break” outside of the room if needed. They answered every question he had. Needless to say we survived. The design of the room is well thought out and detailed. There are interactive characters that help during play. They’re there for entertainment, pieces of the puzzle and hints. We had a lot of fun and hope to come back in the future without the kids haha so we can do one of the more challenging rooms.

I've only been to one other escape room so far and I don't normally leave reviews... But this place seriously deserves five stars. I went with two buddies and after we finished the Heart of Bastet we immediately booked another room for the following week! Hands down one of the most entertaining things to do for an hour with some friends. The puzzles were extremely well made, thought out, unique, and fun, with great variety and a fantastic set design. It felt like we were in a movie! We did it in 40 minutes with no clues but it wasn't necessarily easy to figure out, and it was absolutely worth the forty-something dollars per person. Employees were helpful as well and despite a few tech glitches with the room's electronic features, we were quite satisfied. I would highly recommend the Wethersfield location and I'm excited to try the Middletown one!

Our family of 4 had the BEST time at Lara’s Labyrinth! Jonah (the owner) took extra time to give us a behind the scenes look at the different rooms, which was really cool! We did the Sheepshank Redemption room and it was so much fun. It was challenging, but not too difficult. I HIGHLY recommend giving them a try! P.S. - WE ESCAPED!

This was one of the better Escape Rooms that I've been to! We played "Curse of Osiris" with 2 adults and a 10-year old. The puzzles were challenging enough but not too challenging to have a child play along. We finished with time to spare but we did ask for a few hints. I love when the puzzles are interactive and non-linear. I also love it when things/items can get manipulated and are not just the puzzle/riddle type. This particular game had a couple of fun features - won't go into detail due to spoiler alert. It's a tad bit scary, so maybe not appropriate for little kids. The whole venue's decoration was awesome (lobby, waiting area, bathrooms) and the people who worked there at the time of our visit were super friendly. Over all a great Escape Room and well worth the 45-minute drive for us! We'll be back!

This was soo fun! Such a great family owned establishment! They were all so nice. We did the heart of Bastet. It was fun and exciting. It was a good challenge. We had four people. We made it out with 10 minutes remaining but we definitely want to try a harder room next. It’s multiple rooms which is even more fun. Definitely recommend ⭐️
