Husband and I wanted to spend Sunday in a different way. So we booked the Contagion room. Very fun, clever room. Highly recommend date nights there at least once. We will be going again. If you're looking for something different this is worth the try. It is located in Downtown Deland, so food options are plenty. Before and after your experience.

Our first time doing an escape room and it was Awesome! At the get go, we were impressed with our customer service gal Piper. She suggested the Diamond Heist room and it was a perfect fit for what we could handle. She was professional, thorough, diligent, and ready to help whenever we needed her while in the escape room! It was a Great experience and I encourage anyone who’s curious to just GO. There are a range of themes and intensities to choose from. Ask for Piper—You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been to a lot of escape rooms and this is unfortunately one of the worst I’ve been to. The puzzles are not interactive and is what you’d expect from an escape room 10 years ago. The hard room is hard because you’re missing a lot of context to puzzles and you’re meant to just used brute force guess the puzzles instead of using wit… I know because I asked for the solutions at the end. There was also part of a puzzle that the game master said she forgot to tell us to ignore because it’s from when they were missing a lock before but the lock is there now. So we spent time solving a puzzle for a lock that wasn’t in the room anymore. Game master also said if they wanted you to do math then they’d give you a calculator but hints were insinuating that you’d do math and they all used low integers that are easy to add and multiply in your head. She should have just said that as part of the instructions. We also asked for a hint and waited 5 minutes with no response. We then left the room to ask the front to respond. Every hint took about 2-5 minutes for someone to respond. The game master, respectfully, was not enthused or that helpful and it kinda ruins the vibe. I won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend it.

We recently took 9 international students from France and Spain (teens) to Minquest Escape Rooms. Nicole was wonderful to work with and she helped us set up a special day for our students. Each group of three was in a different room! She was kind, helpful, and very understanding of our students! They had a great time and found the rooms surprising and challenging (in a good way)! We highly recommend Mindquest Escape Rooms in Deland, Florida!

Great experience! Even though we didn’t win, it was my first time at an escape room and it was done super well! Will be back, gotta finish the puzzles!
