Mission: SPACE Introduce
Mission: SPACE, located in the World Discovery area of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is a space exploration-themed attraction that offers guests a thrilling and immersive simulation of space travel. This unique attraction combines cutting-edge technology with engaging storytelling to create an unforgettable experience for space enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike.
Mission: SPACE features two distinct missions: the Orange Mission and the Green Mission. The Orange Mission is a high-intensity simulation of a launch and journey to Mars, complete with realistic G-forces and weightlessness. This mission is designed for guests seeking an adrenaline rush and a truly immersive space travel experience. The Green Mission, on the other hand, is a gentler simulation of an orbit around Earth, offering stunning views and a less intense experience. This mission is perfect for guests who want to experience the wonders of space travel without the intense G-forces.
The attraction's centerpiece is a state-of-the-art simulator that accurately recreates the sensations of space flight. Guests are seated in a capsule-like vehicle that tilts and rotates to simulate the various stages of a space mission. The level of realism is so high that some guests may experience motion sickness, so it's essential to choose the mission that best suits your comfort level.
Mission: SPACE is more than just a thrill ride; it's also an educational experience. The attraction incorporates information about space travel, astronaut training, and the challenges of exploring Mars. Guests can learn about the science behind space flight and gain a deeper appreciation for the achievements of space exploration.

I did the orange experience. This is not your typical amusement park ride; this is a whole other experience. I understand that for some people it can be physically overwhelming. At first I was very nervous because they work you up with all the preparation theatrics. However, it didn’t feel as intense as they make it sound because the ride doesn’t last that long. As a suggestion, hold your breath and try to breath in small amounts during take off so you don’t get nauseous and dizzy. That’s what they actually tech astronauts and pilots in training. I actually went for a second time on the same day because I think it’s something you can’t get to experience anywhere else, being inside a simulator like an actual astronaut pulling 2.5 Gs.

The ‘orange’ level of this ride is EXTREME. I love roller coasters and speed, but this is different from everything I had experienced, the ‘G force’ pressure on my chest made me feel like I couldn’t breath, it was very intense and long, I wouldn’t do it again and I honestly think the warnings should be more clear, this is not a ride for everyone and even less for kids of any age.

I really liked this It was an experience that's for sure If you have any concerns at all about being closed in and extreme and I mean extreme G force , then do not do the extreme one ! Trust me do not do , this is a simulation and u will feel it. If u do focus on breathing look straight forward !! But if u think u can handle it then go for the orange , if not do the green mission. Orange is very full on , but an experience that's for sure. Green easy orange full on

Not a very intense ride and great if you love space science but DO NOT attempt to go on this ride on either route if you get motion sickness, get dizzy easy, or if you don’t do well in small spaces. The children and I are normally very good with rides and don’t ever get sick but this ride got to us a little. We were not feeling well at all but recovered after a few minutes of sitting down and resting.

This ride is not for everyone. They will warn you and let you know that it will cause motion sickness. I had motion sickness after this ride and felt terrible for a few hours. Not something you want to go on after a heavy meal.
