Definitely agree it’s on the ghetto side. We’ve done quite a few and this was our least favorite. Puzzles could use some tweaking to be clearer in terms of flow. Very first generation design with mostly locks and keys. Not a clear story and could use a little more thoughtful design tweaks. Also playing in the dark the entire time got old very fast. We’re used to playing in the dark until you find the lights but the lights never turned on and you had to share and acquire flashlights along the way.

Basically, just save your money. This place definitely deserves one star and the only reason it has 1 star is because it technically was an escape room but not a good one. The price was about $105 for 3 people and it was the worst escape room that we’ve ever attended for a few reasons. First, yes, this place is like the most ghetto escape room in history. I imagine they spent less than $100 on all of the props and puzzles in the room. We did Mystery House and the story line didn’t make sense. The room was dusty, there were real spiders and it obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a while as there was dirt and dust. The set up was less than impressive. It was a two room set up and the second room looked like a closet with a curtain that led to a wall. Everything felt slimy. The lights are off the whole time and the flash lights batteries were dying so we had to use our phone lights. In order to get a clue, you have to wave your hands and then a mans voice will say “hint!” On a small boxy looking computer monitor that looks like it’s from the early 2000’s. It was also GLITCHING for a second there. One of the clues that was given was the answer to a puzzle..... and after trying that code, we realized it was wrong. So he put “oh yeah it’s xxx” on the screen. This was honestly hilarious lol but only because of how disorganized it was!! The puzzles were locks and didn’t flow well like someone else said. The “lobby” doesn’t even have chairs or actually... any furniture at all besides a curtain that’s half falling down. Whoever opened this room obviously doesn’t take pride in creating a memorable or enjoyable experience for their customers and just wants to collect an easy pay check. Well, they got us and our money while we got a few good laughs because of how poorly operated the room was. Hopefully you don’t make the same mistake. To be honest though, my friends and I did have fun because of how BAD IT WAS!! And looking back, it was memorable... we will always remember to never go there again.

This is one of my favorite escape rooms to go to! The person that was running it was very helpful and he asked us if we needed help along the way. His customer service was phenomenal. It’s definitely an escape for those who are into solving word puzzles and connecting the dots. Sure some of them are hard, but that’s the fun part about it! They offer you water and make sure you have fun! It’s also by the ocean, close to Taco Bell Cantina, so after you can go and take walk down there and have some refreshments. They have a waiting room where you wait and it’s warm in there, which is pretty great since Pacifica is mostly cold. It’s a little hidden gem, and I heard it’s suppose to expand, so I’m excited for that too!!! It’s fun to go with a group of friends on any nights of the week!! Check it out y’all!!

For the price, I don't think it's worth it. There are many other escape rooms/companies with the same price (or less) with much better escape rooms. Firstly, we did the house in the woods. It didn't really look like a house in the woods. The propts look cheap and don't make sense. The game master didn't even give us a proper intro. We have done many escape rooms, and game master always seem to tell us a story before entering the room. The first room looked like a vintage house, then went to a bathroom with paitings on the wall that didn't really fit? (THE THING THAT BOTHERED ME MOST WAS): The game master seemed like he wanted us out fast. In the first 15 minutes, he was giving hits over the sound system but then he decided to come in and stay in the same room as us. He seemed to be rushing us, and almost giving us directions to what to do, even though we didn't ask. I bet if he gave us a bit more time to look, we could have found the stuff he pointed out to us. Like, we want to escape by solving puzzles not having someone telling us what to do. It was like we were given the walk through of the escape room during the game :> Why are we put into a dark room? Don't most houses have lights? There was only 1 flashlight we could see when we first went into the room, so we ended up gathering candles and having to look for more flashlights. What escape room desinger decides it's a good idea to have players play in a dark room? It's difficult to see locks, puzzles, and etc. Usually unlocking locks only require one person, but it required multiple people, because others would have to be holding a flash light. I understand if the room was dimly lit, but not lights turned off all the way, and candles scattered throughout the room.

Our 1st time here and we loved it! We did the cabin in the woods and it was perfect for our group of 7. I forgot the name of the host but he was awesome and helped us have a great experience. Looking forward to returning and doing the murder mystery one! Thank you guys!! 😊
