Bartlebaugh Amusements Inc Introduce

Welcome to Bartlebaugh Amusements Inc, a traveling amusement center listed in our Theme Park Directory, with a listed address of PO Box 56, 104 Madisonburg Pike Rd, Madisonburg, PA 16852, USA. Based on recent customer reviews from their appearance at the Cranberry Township Community Days on July 13, 2024, it appears they operate as a fair at various community events.

Environment: Bartlebaugh Amusements operates as a traveling fair. One review described the fair as having only six rides, with some appearing boring or potentially unsafe, particularly a large orange one. The overall atmosphere is that of a typical fair setting with games and food vendors.

Services: Bartlebaugh Amusements provides typical fair services, including games and rides. However, multiple customer reviews express significant dissatisfaction with the cost of these services, describing game prices ($5.00 for one chance) as unaffordable for families. There are also serious complaints regarding the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of some staff members. One specific incident involved a dispute over a game prize, resulting in a staff member yelling at customers, telling them to "go to hell," providing a false name ("Monk"), and shutting down a game for an hour. Another review echoed concerns about the overall rudeness of many workers.

Features: The features of Bartlebaugh Amusements include a selection of fair rides, with one review mentioning only six were present, and concerns about the safety and appeal of some. They also offer various fair games, although these are criticized for their high cost. One customer also noted a poor experience with the lemonade purchased, describing it as watered down and lacking flavor.

Promotional Information: The provided reviews do not contain any positive promotional information. Instead, they highlight the high costs of games ($5 per play) and rides. One customer mentioned a wristband option was not discussed. Given the negative feedback regarding pricing and customer service, potential local users attending an event where Bartlebaugh Amusements is present should be prepared for potentially high costs and the possibility of encountering rude staff. It may be advisable to inquire about pricing and policies before participating in games or rides.

In conclusion, Bartlebaugh Amusements Inc, as featured in our Theme Park Directory, is a traveling fair offering rides and games. However, recent customer experiences indicate significant concerns regarding unaffordable pricing, a limited and potentially unappealing selection of rides, and notably rude and unprofessional behavior from some staff members. Local users are advised to consider these factors before engaging with this amusement provider.

Customer Reviews

Me and my family attended the Cranberry Township Community Days on Saturday 7/13/24 and were very disappointed and frustrated with our experience. The first shock was seeing the unaffordable cost of playing games and rides. We couldn't believe that it cost $5.00 for one chance to play a game. Others around us were astounded at these prices as well. How is that affordable for a family going to enjoy playing some festival games with kids? The most horrible experience we had was at the horizontal rope ladder game. My husband climbed it successfully and was picking out a prize for our daughter with permission from the festival worker who was there, when another festival worker came running over yelling "NO NO NO NO NO!" and said that he didn't win because you can only climb on top of the ladder and cannot climb it by holding onto the underside of the ladder. It said nothing about this on the paper posted in front of the game. We had just watched a girl climb it prior to my husband the exact same way and got a prize. This festival worker continued insisting and yelling at us to leave and said he was shutting down the whole game for 1 hour. I asked him for his name and he told me to "go to hell" and when I asked for his name again he said it was "Monk." He seemed like a person in charge because we noticed him at various games and food vendors. My 4-year-old daughter was standing right there as well as many other kids to observe this awful behavior from this man. Why did he have to shut the game down for an hour? Because too many people were winning and getting a prize and they were losing money? Not a good look at all for Bartlebaugh Amusements. We were just so disgusted with the overall rudeness of many of the workers we encountered and I'm certain there have been more complaints about this, and reading through other reviews I can see this is the case unfortunately. I hope that a different friendlier and more cost-efficient vendor is used in years to come or we won't be attending any longer. I would much rather take my kids to church festivals that are much more affordable with friendly people than deal with miserable workers with astronomical prices.

It was very expensive, also there were only six rides and half of them either looked boring or unsafe, especially the huge orange one. I was thirsty so I went to get some lemonade, the lemonade was lackluster and it was extremely watered down. The sugar was all gone after like 5 sips. One of the rides had a guy spinning it for them. And it made the people in the ride

Number one half the employees didn’t speak any English. Ppl running games were extremely homely and fowl mouthed!!! Games were super expensive and the rides looked like they were taken from a salvage yard.

The rides they provided to the Butler County Farm Show 2023 were the worst I have seen in carnivals and fairs in years. The rubber on the bumper cars was all dry rotted and they had no power hardly to move. You really had to bang foot pedal to get cars to move even. The scrambler ride was from the sixties. The ferris wheel the operator of the ride had to stop it by hand and he had to push it alot to get it to start going. The double shock ride felt like it going to fall apart and kill everyone on it.. it's a shame when the best adult and older kids ride was a tilt a whirl.. The operators were friendly. And talking to some of them even said how old some of the rides were. The lights on the rides had more not working then we're working. It goes to show that Bartlebaugh Amusements is clearly falling apart from when I was a kid because they care more about the money going into the owners pocket then maintaining and fixing their rides. Very piss poor company anymore.

My kids have grown up riding with Bartlebaugh. It was my 3 year olds first time this year. He really enjoyed the maze with the climbing and the slide at the end. However I was not pleased with the big slide. The attendant kicked my 3 year old in the back to start him down the slide. He kicked him hard enough that he almost jumped lanes, and got stuck. Ended up pushing himself down the slide. The attendants should know better!
