Escape New Haven

My group of 3 tried The Crypt and overall had a great time. We completed it with only a few minutes to spare (using a number of hints). Although it’s been a long while since we have last done one and were a little rusty and missed a few easy clues :) Overall I think the level of difficulty was good and not crazy difficult so good for newer groups. It had some mildly scary parts, but nothing too bad (if that’s an issue for you). My few critiques are: - I felt the plot could have been a little more intriguing with the movie star and the mystery around her and how it all relates (no spoilers). I felt a little disconnect with the later half of the escape room. - The initial game guide who welcomed us was pretty low energy, but the one who explained the rules was great. I still enjoyed it a lot and would come again. Interested in their newest “Before Moonrise” room and if some of the other rooms are great I could see giving this place a 5*.

We had an amazing time at Escape Room New Haven. We recently took our entire office here for a team building outing. From the moment we walked in, the decorations were immersive, and the staff was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They set the tone for an exciting and challenging experience. The room itself was incredibly designed, with intricate puzzles, clever clues, and just the right level of difficulty to keep us engaged without feeling overwhelmed. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted, and exciting - down to the timer which was actually a part of the experience. Huge shout out to the game master who was helpful providing just the right amount of guidance. They cater each game to the individual crowd that is in that room so they are not all the same all the time making it a great place for both adults and kids! I would totally recommend Escape New Haven to anyone.

Me and my family went for the game show room and we loved it. It had so many moving parts. While we finished we didn't finish with the best time, but we enjoyed it so much that we already booked a second room for the following weekend. I would recommend it to any party size, we were a party of four and while that's not many it also didn't feel like we would have been able to do it faster with more people.

Played Before Moonrise, it was very fun and my team had a good time. Joe was a great clue master. He was very helpful and kind. Our game was after 9 on Saturday so street parking was free.

My friends and I went to this escape room for her birthday and had such a fun time! We did an escape room called Before Moonrise and I loved it! The puzzles were very well thought out and really fun to do! Absolutely loved the concept and all the themes of their escape rooms. Great quality escape rooms and super friendly and attentive staff. I would definitely go again in the near future and would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for escape room fun!
