Environment: Galaxy VR is situated within a mall. However, customer reviews suggest that a significant portion of the space is occupied by non-working ride-on games sitting in darkness. The overall impression from some reviews is negative, with one describing the place as "the death of hope."

Features: The features include larger VR machines, a smaller 'VR machine' described as a ball pit with a screen, and arcade games. The larger VR machines cost $10 per ride, with rides lasting 3-5 minutes. The ball pit 'VR' is $10 per person for unlimited play of older games. Arcade games cost $5 per game. A prepaid card system is in place, but it reportedly only works on a select few arcade games.

Services: Customer reviews highlight a confusing prepaid card system that does not work on all games, often requiring customers to use their credit cards in addition to the prepaid card. Staff interactions are not prominently mentioned in the provided reviews. One review notes a lack of effort to improve the attraction for families visiting the mall.

Promotional Information: Based on the provided customer reviews, there is significant negative feedback regarding Galaxy VR. The prepaid card system is confusing and has limited usability. Many of the ride-on games are reported as non-functional. The VR experiences and arcade games are described as expensive for the duration and quality offered. The 'VR' ball pit is particularly criticized as being a screen-based game with old games. The arcade games are also expensive with limited card compatibility and short play times. One reviewer suggests that any other arcade would be better and cheaper, even labeling the experience as almost robbery. Potential local users in Norwalk looking for VR or arcade entertainment should be aware of these criticisms before visiting. The high number of single-review five-star ratings mentioned in one review might also warrant caution. It is advisable to seek more current and diverse opinions before deciding to visit Galaxy VR. No positive promotional aspects can be objectively derived from the provided reviews.

This place is the death of hope. Confusing prepaid card system that only works on select games (the rest of the games you need to whip out your credit card AGAIN); the ride-on games never work and are sitting in darkness taking up half of the overall space. For such a wonderful mall, this is a missed opportunity to actually attract and make money off of families who's kids really want to play. How cute to Make this an old fashioned arcade with skiball and fun things that everyone can get into...or at least just install games that actually work so this can be a destination for kids. Families are eager to entertain kids at the mall so please lift a finger to do better.

Notice all the 5 star reviews are people who only have 1 review. 2 bigger VR machines are $10/ride. Rides are 3-5 minutes. Smaller ‘VR machine’/the ball pit is absurd. It’s a screen you throw balls at. Not in a fun way. It was $10/person, unlimited, but a series of games from ~2003 including candy crush. After that it’s the arcade games. At $5/game. There are 4 that work on the card you can buy. One is the coloring game you can do for free at Norwalk aquarium or la Guardia airport. Another is basketball, but don’t expect the score to deliver tickets or prizes. It’s just to shoot a ball at a hoop. Space invaders and claw machine don’t work on that card. They last as long as a single game - so 2-4 minutes. Any place with any sort of arcade is better - and cheaper - than this one. So absurd it *almost* qualifies as robbery.

The arcade experience was disappointing to say the least. Initially, we waited for about 30-40 minutes after opening hours, with the lights off the entire time. The staff weren't transparent about what was included with the gaming cards, so after purchasing two $30 cards, we found out they didn't cover the claw games or the main VR ride/game (which I had communicated to them we wanted to participate in). We had to pay extra for those separately. Additionally, the variety of games was poor, with many out of service, and such varied age levels there were not many options for the girls. It was frustrating and could have been avoided with transparent information from the staff. We left with money still on the cards, feeling like it was a waste.

I went with my friends spent $5 for 2 minutes on air hockey. The space was lackluster not to mention. The whole operation is very all over the place. Most machines or “ attractions “ were greasy/oily. ( would not recommend )

Very expensive for regular arcade games and a mix of paying with prepaid card or needing to use credit card at each game. Then to make it better, most of the games didn’t actually work, making it a total bust. avoid at all costs.
