Headless Horseman Escape Rooms Introduce

Welcome to Headless Horseman Escape Rooms, located at 778 Broadway, Rte 9W, Ulster Park, NY 12487, USA, and featured in the Theme Park Directory. Headless Horseman Escape Rooms is known for its detailed set construction and immersive environments, particularly themed around Halloween.

The environment at Headless Horseman Escape Rooms is highly praised by some for its very detailed rooms and phenomenal set construction. The level of detail contributes to an immersive experience, with well-crafted clues and storylines. However, other feedback indicates potential issues with the functionality of in-room elements, such as non-working "triggers" that can hinder gameplay and lead to missed clues. There are also mentions of puzzles that may not make sense and physical interactions with props, like a coffin, that can be unexpectedly difficult.

The services offered by Headless Horseman Escape Rooms include immersive escape room experiences with specific themes, likely tied to the Headless Horseman and Halloween. The staff who are working are described as fantastic by one reviewer. However, another review suggests that the attention paid to teams while they are in the room can be lacking, with game controllers sometimes missing non-functional elements, leading to delays. There are also comments about the clarity and logic of some puzzles, which may impact the overall enjoyment. It is also noted that the experience might be primarily available around the Halloween season, as expressed by a reviewer's sadness that it's not open year-round.

Features of Headless Horseman Escape Rooms include very detailed and well-constructed sets that contribute to an immersive atmosphere. The clues and storylines are described as phenomenal by some. However, potential drawbacks include non-functional in-room "triggers," inattentive game control leading to missed clues and lost time, puzzles that may lack logical sense, and unexpectedly difficult physical interactions with props. The experience is highly favored by some, becoming their favorite escape room, while others found it a waste of money due to these issues. It is also worth noting that its operation might be seasonal, primarily around Halloween.

Given the contrasting reviews, with high praise for the set design and immersion but significant concerns raised about the functionality of in-room elements and the attentiveness of game control, local users are advised to consider both perspectives before booking Headless Horseman Escape Rooms as listed in the Theme Park Directory. It may be prudent to contact them directly at (845) 339-2666 or mobile phone at +1 845-339-2666 to inquire about the current operational status (especially if outside the Halloween season) and any recent improvements to the functionality of their escape rooms.

Only good part is the set construction. Very detailed rooms, however they don't pay enough attention to you while in the room. Half of the "triggers" in our room did not function when you touch them. This lead to clues not opening when they should and the person controlling the game didn't notice half the time. This cost us almost 20 minutes total that we knew of. We have done lots of other brand rooms and they function much better, rather than have one puzzle to figure out at a time at other people can be doing multiple puzzles in different areas. Some of the puzzles just made no sense, when we asked at one point how we were supposed to know about something they said it's supposed to be one of the two clues. Then they tell you not to force any objects but it take almost two people to open the coffin. They just make a bunch of excuses when they should spend some time fine running the rooms. Basically after doing most of them we learned spend you money at a place like Escape Time in Hopewell, its just as well built but everything works the way it's supposed to and they pay attention to what's happening when your in the game. This was just a waste of money.

We have done a bunch of other escape rooms and this was our favorite. The details, clues and story line were phenomenal. Everyone in my house is sad it's only for Halloween because they want to be able to go again. The staff was also fantastic that was working it.

We have gone 2 years in a row, failed two years in a row too. But we still had a lot of fun. We have gone with a group of people from work which has been a lot of fun. The only thing I didn't like was this one had no lights when we started and I wish I had a heads up about that, but I guess it did make for part of the experience. We will go every year if we can. Was much better than we expected and we had a really good time.

Great escape room (Death Row). Very challenging. Lots of found items/clues and non-clues. Unfortunately we (12 people) did not get out...mind you it was a room where at least half do/love escape rooms and puzzle solving. *only 1 thing I didn't care for but I won't ruin it by saying what that is. Overall 5 stars.

I really like Death row so real like very fun and different. My first time in an escape room which was very fun I felt like I was apart of it.
