Prophetstown Aquatic Center Introduce

Welcome to Prophetstown Aquatic Center, a water park located at 5545 Swisher Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906, USA. As part of our Theme Park Directory, we aim to provide local users with detailed information to help plan their visits. Prophetstown Aquatic Center offers a range of water-based attractions suitable for families with children.

According to recent customer feedback, Prophetstown Aquatic Center is described as a small but well-maintained facility. One reviewer noted that their children, aged 12, 10, and 3, had fun and appreciated the visit. Another customer echoed this, stating that the kids really enjoyed it and found the slides to be good.

The water park features several attractions, including water slides that have been positively received by visitors. There is also a lazy river, which, while described as narrow, was still enjoyable for children. It is worth noting that during one customer's visit, half of the pool area was closed due to maintenance. However, in light of this, the ticket price was reduced to $3, which was seen as making it a very affordable option, especially for larger families.

While many aspects of the park were enjoyed by children, some operational aspects received less favorable feedback. One customer expressed disappointment with the park's closing time of 7:00 PM, particularly given the late sunset in the area. They felt this closing time might inconvenience working individuals. Another visitor commented on the privacy of the bathroom shower stalls, suggesting they might not offer sufficient individual privacy.

Furthermore, one review raised concerns about the attentiveness of the lifeguards. This is an important point to consider for safety-conscious visitors. Despite these concerns, the same reviewer acknowledged that "kids and water are always fun" and that their children enjoyed their time at the park.

Another visitor mentioned a long line at the park entrance upon arrival around 5:30 PM, but noted no lines for the slides themselves. They were asked to leave the water at 6:45 PM, with the park closing at 7:00 PM. This limited operating window significantly impacted their overall experience.

In summary, Prophetstown Aquatic Center offers an affordable water park experience with slides and a lazy river that children seem to enjoy. However, potential visitors should be aware of possible limitations such as maintenance closures, concerns about park hours and lifeguard attentiveness, and potential wait times at the entrance. For the most up-to-date information on operating hours and facility status, it is advisable to contact Prophetstown Aquatic Center directly at (765) 567-4919 or mobile +1 765-567-4919. 1. In a town where the sun does not go down until 10pm, please explain why the park can't stay open until 8:45 at least. I guess the working class heroes are out of luck. 2. The bathroom shower stalls require that you bring a buddy, if you want privacy. 3. It's a good thing the pools are shallow, the guards of life are only there to look out for themselves and each other. 4. Kids and water are always fun. I'm stating all the things I didn't appreciate. My 12, 10 and 3 year old had fun and thanked us for taking them. We got there at around 5:30... No lines to get in or on the slides. The line was long at the entrance of the park. So please keep that in mind when you're planning your trip. We were asked to get out of the water at 6:45. They closed at 7 馃珷 So, this is a one and done for us.

A small but well maintained waterpark. Kids really enjoyed it. Slides were good too. Lazy river was narrow but good for kids. Unfortunately half/ pool side was closed due to maintenance. But they reduced the ticket to $3. Indeed a very affordable waterpark if you have family of 5 or more. Kids loved it.

A great place to hang out with the family. You can see the whole place from pretty much every spot you could sit, so you never lose sight of your kids for long. Not too crowded on weekends, no groups of drunk bros to worry about. It's a great, relaxing time.

The facilities are very clean and well maintained and I felt that, as far as pricing goes, compared to other parks it鈥檚 a fair price. There are no locker rentals, but there are lockers. You will need to bring your own lock. There really isn鈥檛 much to do. It is geared toward small children. Only two slides and the lazy river is very small. On a busy day it鈥檚 very difficult to even find standing room in the water. Would be nice if there were more umbrellas and chairs. Clean safe place to spend a hot day, but that鈥檚 about it. Wouldn鈥檛 go out of my way to go back.

This is a great family-friendly waterpark geared more toward younger children... but even my eleven year old twin boys still had a blast! Very clean and friendly. You cannot take your own cooler.馃挍馃挌馃挋
