Pullen Park in Raleigh is a family-friendly destination offering a variety of activities. Learned that it’s one of the oldest amusement parks in the U.S., dating back to 1887, but it has been beautifully modernized while preserving its historical charm. The park has a well-maintained carousel, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a small train ride that’s especially popular with younger children. The water features and boating are perfect for hot days. The park also features a lovely rose garden and tranquil walking paths that make it an ideal spot for a peaceful stroll or a family gathering. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place for both locals and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities. Parking can be a bit challenging during peak times, but the park's proximity to downtown Raleigh makes it easily accessible. Overall this park can be a good entertainment for everyone!!

We absolutely love this park! There’s endless options, which makes it the perfect spot to keep little ones entertained and wear them out. The amusements are incredibly affordable— the train ride is a must for us every time we go. We even hosted a birthday party here recently, and everything went perfectly—no complaints at all. This place is truly a gem, and we feel lucky to have it nearby!

We had photos taken here a few weeks ago and I forgot how beautiful this park is. It turned into a wonderful little outing that day. We walked around the lake, took pictures of the pretty plants, and treated ourselves to a hotdog and slushy drinks from the front entrance cafe. So much to do here!

Heard about Pullen Park and how great this park is for families, so we had to see for ourselves! We had a great time walking through the park, it is well-kept and beautiful. Enjoyed a train ride and was hoping to paddleboat, but it is a weekend-only experience. Love how there is a place to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend 👌

Wonderful kid-friendly, family friendly spot worth visiting! We enjoyed the carousel, the trolley train and the park equipment! Even a digging sand area! It’s easy to find parking which is free but most attractions $2/person. Plenty of stuff today for free though!
