The kids loved this small aquatic place, even if it was small it brought the kids many hours of joy. This place is located right next to a park and many multiple attractions.

We all appreciate beautiful trees in the park, but when planted around a splash pad you know that after a certain hour you will end up with cold kids running around with little blue lips. This can be used to your advantage as a sign of when it's time to pack up and head home though! This park is Generally always busy, a great place for people watching but not so great if you Want to avoid crowds. This park does have a little something for everyone however, including Salem's beautiful carousel. I highly recommend a visit.

Riverfront park is great. Its really nice and open. But there were homeless people everywhere and sleeping in the grass. Dogs were also running around off leash. In and out of the splash pad. My kid has a huge fear of dogs. I understand its a public place but it was just a bit rude. It not the worst park in salem but it could be improved.

We've been to the splash pad probably a dozen times in the last week and it never gets old. Every day you can catch a beautiful sunset over the vast flowing expanse that is the Willamette River. Tons of water features here that are fun for everyone, especially the kids. I'm not above admitting as an adult that I've indulged in these water features and can vouch for how effectively they can bring relief on a hundred degree sweltering afternoon.
