Trapped! Escape Room - Strongsville

If I could give 0 stars I would. They open at 11. We were there early and waited. 10 minutes before our scheduled time, I gave them a call based on previous reviews with concerns. When I called at 11:20, they stated the employee had an emergency and currently trying to find someone close. While this is not the employees fault, as a company I would strongly encourage you based on this review and previous reviews of horrible experiences to shut down your place. I had to call for my scheduled time to find out what was going on. I will be getting a refund. The worst customer service. Do not go here. Save your time, money, and enjoyment. Put those things to places that actually know how to run something.

It was a last minute activity with my best friend. The 2 of us did wonderland. Atmosphere and cleanliness of the waiting room and trapped room. It was a great experience and the host was awesome. We needed him 4 × even though mentioned can only have 3 clues. Ready to get another group in a different room.

Ok I try to hit every escape room facility in the area at least once. I am aware that every escape room is not created equal. This was by far the worst one I have ever seen. I don't ever go to the reviews to complain. But a warning needs to be posted about this place. Entered the room late which is fine bit turned out to be the start of a steep dive downwards. Once in the room one of the 4 dog cages with a lock on it was opened. Was asked to leave the "room" so it could be locked. We had to walk out of the 4 curtains on a wire that made the room. Upon returning in we were asked if we had ever seen the movie that was in the picture for the room and then told it had nothing to do with that movie. Which was laughable but we were like ok. We were told we would be given 4 clues. The first was a quote from that movie. To not get too long here we were never given a usable clue. Also we had 22 minutes left to complete the last lock (asked for 3 clues for the same part.) and when we didn't we asked how the combination was found he just looked at us and said he didn't know they never told him. So basically to open the final dog cage with a stuffed animal in it, you just have to try every 4 digit combination because nothing in the room solved the lock. Seriously what a joke.

Very annoying experience. I brought my daughter here for her birthday to do the Jumanji escape room. The kid up front kept interrupting if we weren’t getting it fast enough to tell us what to do next. If we wanted a clue, we would’ve asked for one. I could hear him talking about us outside of our room. Unprofessional. Kind of pissed that I spent what I did here. Don’t waste your time or your money on this place. Go to Escaped on Pearl instead 👌

Have been here several times and each time was fun for everyone who went, kids and adults alike. The hosts were friendly and professional, and the rooms were challenging and creative. We stopped in while we were the mall and did Wonderland, and we enjoyed it so much we decided to return and do Operation Candy Cane and two others (with and without the kids)! We will defininely go back to do the rooms we haven't done yet.
