This is new to the area. I saw ads on meta for months promoting Urban Air. It was super crowded. I think that’s mainly because it’s new and it’s spring break. Lines were all very long. I stood on the line for close to 20 minutes when I finally get up there, the cashier says I need to complete the waiver. I did have the waiver done before I arrived, but on their end my children’s names didn’t populate so the cashier says I need to stand on a different (long) line, complete the waiver again then get back on another long line to return to get to get wrist bands and socks. I expressed I didn’t want to get back on the long line after standing there already. She looked at me with attitude and didn’t even acknowledge what I was saying. This is when I’d normally leave a business but my kids were eager to participate. So I went on both long lines again just for admissions. Once inside tables were very dirty if empty. I went to the concession stand asked for spray to clean myself. The staff told me I needed to wait because he was making orders. I waited then I finally saw a janitor staff. He was actually very kind and helped me right away. (That’s why I’m giving an extra star). Later my kids wanted to play the arcade games. I didn’t realize the kiosk was on the arcade floor but I asked 4 different staff members where I can purchase the arcade card. None of them knew. They finally asked a supervisor and he directed me. Pros: spacious, they can host parties, food on site, zip line, different experience than most activity spaces in the area, custom packages with tier leveled access Cons: price not worth experience, socks which are mandatory are an extra expense, staff not well trained yet I think they will probably improve once they’re established a bit longer, but for now it seems like they weren’t prepared to open despite there being so many employees. I’ll try again and I’ll update my review.

We visited in the opening weekend. Our kids had a blast and are already asking to return for their birthday parties. The four year old loved laser tag, the bumper cars, rock climbing and the ninja course. The 8&10 year olds loved everything, especially the zip line! The facility is clean, the staff were very focused on safety and making sure kids were not double jumping and did a great job making sure they were in their harnesses correctly. I appreciated their diligence. The kids are looking forward to going back soon!

We had a great first experience!! I took my two boys, my niece & nephew - ages 6-13. All over 48 inches, which is the minimum height requirement for all of the activities offered with the platinum pass. I agree with other reviews that this has a particular age group it should cater to. Not for toddlers or older teens. Very clean, super friendly staff & easy to order passes online, prior to our visit. We went at 10 am, when they first opened - I agree with other reviews that there isn’t much guidance when you first walk in, but once you get up to the desk, the staff was helpful. It’s only been open a week, so giving them some patience & grace was necessary!! They have cubbies & paid lockers. It was wide open at 10 am, when they opened…but booked solid when we left after 2 pm. Every employee we encountered (mostly teenagers) seemed to be well trained, yet still working out some kinks. They all had wonderful customer service & patience with my kids. I’d like to make a special shout out to “Boogie” - he was extremely personable & helpful with both laser tag & dodgeball! Made the experience for my kids even more fun! We also, unplanned, happened to meet two of the owners, while ordering food. They were very welcoming, informative & open to some feedback/concerns I had as a parent. I really appreciated their time & openness to chat. I think once this business works through their initial kinks that all first-time businesses can expect to have, they will have a successful business! I welcome them to Richmond & look forward to taking my kids back soon!

Had an amazing fun experience at Urban Air! Facility is brand new with all the tech and fancy rides. There’s something for all age groups and I highly recommend the place. Location is ideal and you can’t beat that in Glen Allen. Kudos to the operations owner and team that plans to bring ultimate fun and adventure experience to the town! thank you.

I reallllly liked this place. If you’ve ever been to sky zone it’s similar but much more entertaining for the kids. My son is 6 turning 7 and we had to peel him out of here after 2 hours. You could easily spend 2-3 hours here! The only thing that I will note is that the kitchen needs to staff more people. The wait was long for a simple basket of fries. We’ll be back. Edited to say that it was immaculately clean in here as well. I hope that continues 🙏🏽
