Our experience yesterday was decent. I won’t say great and I won’t say horrible. I think the place is HIGHLY understaffed. We waited a solid 45 min for food line. Only to be told that they are like out of almost everything. The pop was pure syrup no fizz. Only one kid working the register and another making the food. Same goes for swim up bar in the lazy river. Solid 25 min to get a $18 drink. The lazy river was DIRTY. The wave pool was DIRTY. Not too sure if it’s because it’s the end of season or what. But man. Absolutely nasty. There was a line to get INTO THE LAZY RIVER because there wasn’t enough tubes. Last time I was there ten years ago there was not these problems. I get it’s getting old. But do the damn upkeep for the place because people love it enough. Or just for the sanitation purposes. Also lifeguards were understaffed too and that’s scary.

The staff are amazing. They are mainly kids, but always kind, pleasant, and doing the best they can with what they have. With this being the last weekend open, I expect you to be out of some things…. But popcorn???? There’s a forever shelf like on that! Don’t be lazy and order more! The park was dirty, over 1/2 of the food stations were not even open. It was over an hour wait everywhere for anything. The lines were so long no one wanted to wait! Only 1/2 the go carts and bumber boats working. Where did all the life jackets go???? Little kids wears sizes way too big for them, that’s just not safe. This is not the WWW we are use to seeing! Please bring back the old one!!!

I would rate you in the negatives if i could. After setting up in your campground after an 8 hour drive we looked forward to our first full day at the park. After patiently waiting till 11 am, listening to announcements, life guard training and music, we went over to find out the park was closed due to weather. It was 69.8 degrees out which apparently doesnt meet the 70 degree min, which no one cared to tell us about. After finding out there were no management staff to talk to about our disappointing first day experience, i asked if they could at least turn the music off so we could camp in peace and that was a no go as well. We cancelled our vacation packed up and left to a more welcoming location.

The good: clean water park and enough life guards to feel like kids are safe. Also, adult beverages can be consumed about anywhere. The bad: 1. Bumper boats! No time limit, ran by a kid too busy to care. Sat in line for 15 minutes or more, and only 1 set of riders changed. Also no shade for the queue, just the worker who didn't care. 2. Price for kids- why does my 2.5 year old have to pay 18$ to go down two water slides? Overall fun, but maybe max once a year visit for a family of four that's only a 15 min drive. Could be better.

We had fun. We got in using discounted tickets that are available. It's especially a good deal if you go for $5 after 4PM. The park is small and somewhat worn, but everyone found something they liked. The food was surprisingly good and very reasonably priced. They offer typical snack-bar fare plus amazing cheese curds. A great way to cool off and have fun on a summer afternoon. For the adults, the park offers a swim-up bar or you can take an adult beverage over and watch the kids frolic. There's plenty of seating and shade options available if you'd prefer to stay out of the sun.
