Kids Fun City Introduce

Welcome to Kids Fun City, located at 1301 S James Campbell Blvd #3, Columbia, TN 38401, USA. As an indoor playground listed in the Theme Park Directory, Kids Fun City offers a variety of activities designed to entertain children of various age groups.

Environment: Kids Fun City provides an indoor play area with a range of attractions. These include a ball shooting area with air guns, a ball air fountain, an inner tube slope, a giant wavy set of slides leading into a ball pit, wall-mounted games, a large projector screen for interactive ball throwing, numerous tunnels with a winding tube slide, a small plush carousel for riding, a toddler-sized pin art station, a large trampoline court with a basketball hoop and jousting objects, and an obstacle course featuring ropes, tires, and large plush cubes. There is also a designated pellet area containing sand toys. The facility is generally described as clean-looking. Weekdays are reportedly very empty, while weekends are busier.

Services: Kids Fun City appears to cater to general play and may host birthday parties, although specific details about party services are not provided in the reviews. They offer a cotton candy making machine where fresh, large sticks can be made with customizable designs and flavors for $6 (cash or coins preferred, but card assistance may be available at the counter). Socks are required for entry for both children and adults, and cool socks are available for purchase if needed. One parent can accompany their child inside the play area for free. A wristband system is in place, but its specific function is unclear as there are no safety gates on the entrance/exit doors. Food, possibly pizza and other fast food items, is mentioned as smelling good when prepared, but no direct feedback on the taste or quality is available.

Features: Key features of Kids Fun City include a diverse range of play structures and activities suitable for different ages, from toddlers to older children. These include slides, ball pits, trampolines, obstacle courses, and interactive games. A separate, smaller pellet area with sand toys is available. The unique cotton candy making machine is also a notable feature. The lack of a time limit on play is a benefit for visitors. However, potential safety concerns have been raised regarding the pellet area, where small pellets can get lodged in children's noses, and a spider web tunnel, which may be dangerous for toddlers due to potential falls. These concerns have reportedly been mentioned to staff. The price of entry is noted as being around $20, which is considered a bit steep compared to other larger indoor playgrounds.

Promotional Information: One reviewer described Kids Fun City as an "extremely cool place for kids" where even a 1.5-year-old had significant fun, with kids of all ages appearing to enjoy themselves. This suggests a broad appeal across different age groups. The variety of activities available ensures that children are likely to remain entertained. Local users looking for an indoor playground with a wide array of features, including trampolines, slides, obstacle courses, and interactive games, might find Kids Fun City appealing. However, parents of younger children should be aware of the potential safety hazards in the pellet area and on the spider web tunnel and exercise caution. The recommendation to visit on weekends for a more lively atmosphere is also a useful tip for potential visitors. The unique cotton candy machine could be an added attraction for families.

Based on customer reviews, Kids Fun City in Columbia, TN, is an indoor playground offering a diverse range of activities suitable for various ages. While generally considered a fun place with a lot to keep kids occupied, potential safety concerns regarding the pellet area and spider web tunnel for younger children have been raised. The price is noted as somewhat high, and weekdays can be very empty. However, the friendly staff and variety of attractions, including a unique cotton candy machine, make it a noteworthy option for indoor fun.

Extremely cool place for kids. My 1 year and a half had fun like nowhere else. Saw kids from all ages having fun as much as my daughter. Will definitely come back and recommend.

I'm glad to have an indoor playground in Columbia. There should be multiple in my opinion so the addition to the town is nice for kids. There are some areas that can be dangerous for smaller children. I had to take my four year old to an urgent clinic because the play area full of small pellets got stuck in his nose. I can imagine it is irresistible for a child to dive into them and wouldn't be surprised if this has happened to more than just my child. He had to have a catheter stuck up his nose. The danger of the pellets has been mentioned to staff but it still remains an open play area and there are pellets all over the place. The spider web tunnel is neat for older kids but my heart pounds when I see little toddlers trying to climb it because they can fall right through all the levels. And I am not one of those "helicopter parents". The staff over all is really nice and courteous. I recommend going on a weekend unless your child is ok with being completely alone there (minus me) because it is so empty on weekdays no matter what time you go in my experience. Price is a little steep compared to other indoor playgrounds we've been to. Comes to $20 minus change. We've paid $13 at much larger ones. Most of the other areas are safe and fun. They have ball shooting air guns, a ball air fountain of sorts, an inner tube slope, a giant wavy set of slides going into a ball pit, wall games, a huge projector screen you can throw balls and hit characters with (think like Whack-A-Mole style), lots of tunnels with a winding tube slide, a little plushy carousel to ride on, a toddler sized pin art station, a large trampoline court with a basketball hoop and jousting objects, and obstacle course with ropes, tires and big plush cubes. And the pellet area with sand toys inside of it. Remember to watch your kids' faces in there! There is a really cool cotton candy making machine that makes a fresh, large stick of it and you can choose the design and flavors you want while your kid watches the entertaining process. It's $6 and even though it takes only cash or coins they will help you out with it at the counter if you've just got a card. Pretty clean looking overall in there. Never have had the food but it smells good when they make it. I think they have pizza and other fast food type items. Don't forget to bring socks for you and your child though you can buy some cool ones there if you need it. One parent can play/accompany inside the play area for free. They have a wristband system but honestly I don't see what purpose it serves. There are no safety gates - doors to the business open and close freely. So long as you check up on your kid if they are younger every few minutes, they should have a blast. There is no time limit to play.

Its really the best place for your children to have fun and even for you if you want to buy a pass for yourself. The place is very clean, the service is exceptional, the staff is very friendly and the prices of the drinks and food in the place are very affordable. This place has been my salvation during this winter season and rainy days, my son and I are grateful for the existence of this kind of place at town.

Kids Fun City deserves far more than five stars. ⭐️ This is the best indoor playground we've ever been to! It is spacious, the layout is great, there are so many activities, and a special area for younger babies. I am amazed everytime I walk in at how clean and well maintained the facility is. The staff is wonderful with children also! Let your kids use up their energy by bringing them to one of these indoor play spots! No reason to be cooped up in the house. ⭐️
