What a fun experience!  Thrilling and imaginatively themed Escape Rooms!  They are located right outside the city, in Verona.  Checked out the Christmas Countdown themed escape room and it was fun, challenging and magical.  The theme especially this time of year was extra fun.  The puzzles were hard but enjoyable.  It really makes you think and use teamwork to get the clues and puzzles solved.  The owners are so friendly and you can totally tell are very passionate about what they do.  I would highly recommend Puzzle Pittsburgh if you were looking for an escape room around Pittsburgh. They also have Primal Pigment which is a cool way to let your inner creative side out! It’s basically an interactive art studio- unwind, throw paint and have fun! This is great for parties and is BYOB! Great stress relief or fun and different activity to check out!

I went with my family and we had a great experience! Aleisha was very nice, and she was helpful when she gave us some clues. We did the Seeking Sasquash room, which, not gonna lie, was a bit tough, but still very enjoyable, and a unique experience, which we finished with just 47 seconds to spare! All in all, I would recommend, and it's a very fairly priced experience as well! One thing I will say, at night time, the door/front of building is tough to find, but it looks like the picture i added here.

The weather changed our plans and I needed to find an indoor activity for my friends. The Puzzle Room Pittsburgh was perfect. Convenient, affordable and we all truly had a blast. The escape room was challenging but doable and there were so many different clues we needed the solve that our group of 7 had plenty to do. Elliot at the desk was great and we all felt comfortable and ready to go. 10/10

One of the best! This unassuming building and location contain a marvelous, sophisticated escape experience. The Study felt like we stepped into a Hollywood movie mansion (like Clue or Knives Out) with a large room filled with authentic and thematic decor. Seeking Sasquatch provided the perfect atmosphere and details to forget you were indeed still indoors, complete with sounds, sky, and mood lighting. So many puzzles to solve! And we loved that they were sequential enough to help with the logical flow but not so much that you couldn't have 4-5 people actively contributing at the same time. Excellent use of magnetic locks, safes, and trapdoors; the only times padlocks were used, they made sense for the room and didn't become a distraction or nuisance. Despite the number of puzzles, we had plenty of time to work through everything. And in spite of the packed rooms, there were no aggravating red herrings where we wasted time. Also, how shocked were we that after 125 rooms completed, we came across a lock that we had never seen before?! Finally, we worked with two different game masters, Sarah and Avi, who topped off this positive experience. Sarah had incredible energy and revved up the group with her own excitement. Avi was more reserved but had a passion for the experience and was just as friendly and supportive (which was greatly appreciated during Sasquatch!).
