Environment: The haunted trail takes visitors through an outdoor terrain that is described as uneven, with uphill sections, tree roots, broken concrete pathways, and door frames, which could pose tripping hazards. The experience includes a bus ride to the location of the trail and a tractor ride as part of the journey.

Features: The main feature is a haunted trail experience designed to provide scares. One memorable interaction involved a poltergeist character. The trail includes an initial "shaking box" and then proceeds with regular scares and "boos." A unique element noted was the appearance of a very young child dressed as Chucky at the end of the trail.

Services: Customer reviews indicate significant issues with the pacing and organization of the experience. One visitor reported an hour-long wait for a bus, followed by delays on the bus and a 20-minute wait for a tractor. The entry to the trail itself also involved a 25-minute wait with inconsistent group entries. There are no time slots, which may contribute to unpredictable wait times. The entire trail experience lasted approximately 23 minutes for one group who moved at a semi-fast pace. The cost of entry was mentioned as $27.

Promotional Information: Scarybrooke Park Haunted Trail offers a spooky experience with potential for memorable scares and unique character interactions. However, potential visitors should be aware of reports detailing significant problems with pacing and organization, leading to long wait times for various stages of the experience. The uneven terrain of the trail is also a factor to consider. While some found the experience fun, the organizational issues significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment for others. Local users in New Milford looking for a haunted trail experience should weigh the potential for scares against the reported issues with waiting times and trail conditions. It may be advisable to inquire about current wait times and any changes in organization before visiting. The lack of time slots suggests that wait times could be variable depending on the day and time of visit.

We went to the haunted trail and the best memory for my friend and I was when one of the twins dressed as a poltergeist said “Are those [brand name of shoes]? My DAD wears those!” Ah yes, leaving us both scared and filled with existential dread. 10/10 👀 😂

Do you like to wait? Do I have a place for you! Absolutely ridiculous pacing. 1 hour to wait for the bus to pick you up, 7 minute bus ride where we arrived but could not get off because the pacing was off. Sat on the bus for another 5 minutes, stood in line for the tractor for 20 minutes, got smacked with branches on the tractor ride (seriously, why are you having us "duck" 6 times? Cut the damn branches) then another 25 in the line to actually get in. Here is where I really started to get pissed. The woman let 5 people go and then 20 minutes later let another group go. 5 minutes later another group and 2 minutes after that, our group. What the hell kind of pacing is this? The funnest part of the trail is the beginning. You go into a box and they shake you around. From there regular scares and boos. The terrain was not even, often going uphill and tripping over tree roots, concrete pathways that are broken, and door frames. They had a 3 year old at the very end who I guess was supposed to be Chucky. I can say it's a first that I've seen someone that young be in a haunted trail. Overall just bad timing and organization. They don't give time slots so good luck whenever you go. The entire trail took us 23 minutes though we were going at a semi fast pace. For $27 it's not bad but the pacing ruined it for me.

I took my family to scarybrooke tonight feeling like it would be like any other cheesy walk through. That was not the reality! From the tractor ride to the haunted maze to the end, we all had a fantastic time! The actors were fantastic, the set up was awesome and fun. We can’t wait to come again next year!!! Thanks harrybrooke park for this fun family event!

Worst haunted trail of all the years I’ve lived in new Milford. We walked down to the park because we live close by, and as soon as we arrived we were told there were no check ins allowed at the actual park. So much for being friendly to local patrons. We were forced to get on a bus that go all the way to Pettibone, were checked in with our tickets on our phone, given a paper ticket, and then were sent to the back of the line to get back on the bus. There are also no restroom facilities advertised at pettibone for what turned out to be an hour wait. This is the most poorly managed haunted trail we’ve been to in roughly 7 years just because of this horrible system and it really put a damper on the entire experience. It would’ve been so simple to have a second checkin point at the park itself. I recommend that those running the haunted trail make changes because this was far more inconvenient than some muddy fields, and will only lead to a drop in ticket sales. It would’ve been faster for us to drive to the headless horseman haunt in New York State, and we might just do that next year and skip scarrybrooke. So disappointed.
