Went with my family at 01/19/2025. I had a lot of questions before coming in here but couldn't find answers online, so here is some information that might help you. - Yes, pools are closed at this time of the year. - They currently open on weekends only. - Purchased military pass online for only $92 with unli visits and free parking for the whole year. Should be worth it if you have little ones and from around here. If you only have a single day ticket I heard they charge $30+ for parking. - Download the app before going so you can see the park schedule and directions! - Park is not too busy and almost no wait time for all the rides and picture taking with the characters. - I have a 2 year old and was able to enjoy 4 different rides! - The atmosphere is amazing, it's very open and a perfect place to spend the day with your little one. - I heard a lot of negative comments about this place and was hesitant to go at first, but after our visit, we actually loved it. - Park says outside food and beverage are not allowed, but they let us in with a lot different toddler food/snacks. - I personally think the photos from them are not that good lol. It doesn't look professional just a normal photo. I purchased a printed one with elmo for $25. - Parade starts at 3:30, nothing too fancy but i keep reminding myself it's not for us, its for the kids 馃槀 - Will go back for sure! Excited for summer :))

Sesame Place San Diego is a fantastic destination for families, offering a fun and engaging atmosphere for kids of all ages. The rides, water attractions, and character interactions create a magical experience that brings Sesame Street to life. The park is well-maintained, and the staff in most areas are friendly and accommodating. However, the food service, particularly at Monster Snack, needs significant improvement. The wait times for food are excessively long, which can be frustrating, especially with hungry children. Additionally, I noticed employees eating chicken tenders while taking orders, which is highly unprofessional. Food handlers should maintain proper hygiene, including wearing gloves, especially when serving meals to kids. Overall, while Sesame Place excels in entertainment and family fun, the food service experience detracts from the visit. Improving efficiency, enforcing stricter hygiene standards, and ensuring professionalism among staff would greatly enhance the park鈥檚 overall quality.

Lots of fun to be had at this giant amusement park. They have monster dance parades periodically with the Sesame favorites. One thing I wish I did was wear my bathing suit. There are tons of water rides and pools that I didn't know about before hand. I guess next amusement park I'll do my research. Still, even without using all the water rides, there are plenty of dry activities and rides.

Fun for Sesame Street fans. Kid friendly. Only about 8 rides open when the pool is closed for the season.
