The staff was absolutely amazing! While I’m not usually a fan of being scared, Cherry, Tallia, and Dylan made the experience truly worthwhile. They were incredibly reassuring and supportive throughout the escape room, ensuring I felt safe and always had the option to leave if needed. Though I may never attempt the Chloe escape room again, I would definitely return to try others!

We’ve been to the Draper location several times with various groups of friends. The rooms are pretty cool, well themed, and complicated. The most recent two times we’ve been, the front desk people were really great. I feel bad for not getting the names of the people on Sunday, but when we went back on Wednesday night, manager Bailey was so great to work with and really helpful.

Alcatraz has well-designed and immersive rooms, but their pricing and policies feel like such a cash grab and the experience feels impersonal compared to other escape room places in the area. We did The Row and the puzzles were cleverly designed and fun to engage with. However, the staff member just played us a couple videos for the rules and the story and then gave all the clues via text on a screen. It felt distant and impersonal, especially since it was a different staff member that let us out of the room (and straight back into the lobby with no checkout or photo opportunity which felt jarring and awkward). Other escape room locations at least have the employee verbally give you the spiel, which helps you feel more connected to the story and like your experience matters more to the staff/company. They also have some of the most expensive ticket pricing in the salt lake valley at $38 per person on weekends BEFORE taxes and online "convenience fees". Because of that, their no refunds policy becomes extremely frustrating. We had one person who couldn't make it last minute due to illness, and when I asked for a refund for their ticket, the staff member said the best they could do was a voucher. They forgot to give it to me at the end of my game and I had to call and ask about it (no worries, mistakes happen), but when I got the email with the voucher code I realized it expires in March of this year. Less than three months to use a voucher given in place of a refund is INSANE and such a cash grab -- there's no reason why the time period for use couldn't be longer, especially considering how expensive the ticket was and how they refused to refund it. I have been to many escape rooms, and I've never had similar issues elsewhere. I would also never ask a group to pay for a ticket they aren't using -- you would run the rooms just the same for a group of 5 as you would for a group of 6. The no refund policy in this context has no logical explanation other than being a cash grab. If you want to go here, be prepared to absorb the cost of any people who can't come. Their rooms are fun, but they care much more about getting your money than they do about giving you an experience worth the price, and it shows.

This place was great! For me, I really enjoy escape rooms that are not just a combination lock, after another, and this place wasn't. Raiders revenge is a high-tech escape room that only has one combo lock, would for sure recommend.

Absolutely enjoyed the experience! Was my second time at an escape room & we accidentally chose the hardest room but we made it half way through. Beyond happy with our experience!
